Gefei Suo (PhD 2013-2016, and post-doctoral studies 2016-2019 SISU, Shanghai) is a Lecturer at Shanghai International Studies University. She has been teaching the course of Intercultural Communication to university students for over 10 years. Her research focuses on intercultural communication, international communication and city image. She has published over 15 chapters, journal articles, and books, such as Applying a Delphi process towards assessing the status and conceptualization of intercultural communication studies in China (Global Media and China,2019(3)), Intercultural Adaptation of Chinese Academic Scholars in the USA: A Phenomenological Approach (Nanjing University Press, 2018), A New Way of International Communication of Chinese Culture --- An Empirical Study based on MOOC( International Communication, 2018(6).) Mixed-methods Intercultural Foreign Language Teaching Based on MOOC(Foreign Languages World, 2018(3)), etc. She won the honor of “excellent teaching award” granted by Shanghai Education Commission and research project about “Intercultural Strategies for Developing Shanghai into a Global City” funded by Bureau of Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Projects.
