WANG Ting

Dr.Wang Ting, Senior Engineer, received his PhD in Computer Science from University of Liverpool in December 2013. In September 2016, he finished his post-doctoral research in the State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Technology and System, Department of Computer Science, Tsinghua University. He is now an Associate Professor and master Supervisor of School of Journalism and Communication, Shanghai International Studies University; also the Director of Hainer Cognition and Intelligence Research Center, Yangtze River Delta Research Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang; He is an expert of National Graduate Education Evaluation and Monitoring of China Ministry of Education, one of China Entrepreneurship Tutors of Torch Center in China Ministry of Science and Technology;He is the Vice Chairman of Big Data and Technology Communication Special Committee and Standing Director of Data Journalism Special Committee in China Science and Technology Journalism Society; He was a MBA Business Tutor of Business School at Jiangnan University and Innovation & Entrepreneurship Mentor of Xi 'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. In 2018, he was selected into the Innovation Jiaxing -- Elite Leading Plan. At present, Dr. Wang Ting's main research direction is Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. He has hosted or participated in a number of national and provincial projects, and is a reviewer of several international journals. He has guided his students to win the Challenge Cup, the Chinese College Student Computer Design Competition, the American College Student Mathematical Contest in Modeling, the Microsoft Imagine Cup Global Student Science and Technology Competition and many other domestic and foreign competitions. He has also guided his students to publish papers in both international conferences and journals.
